It has been a long while since I have posted! And a lot has happened since Friday! So I will take it a day at a time :)

Saturday! We went to the Central Baptist Association meetings at Loughton Baptist Church. I enjoyed it! We met people from all over Central England! As well as enjoying worshiping and listening to teaching with all of them! We also got to enjoy a great picnic with all kinds of wonderful English food!
A very pretty church!
 I really enjoyed it!

Sunday! It was great! We worked with the kids this time. We did the children's service. We taught them on the story of the woman who touched the cloak of Jesus and was healed. We had a video, games, and coloring sheets to go with the lesson. It was so much fun! I love those kids! That day two people were accepted into membership of the church!! :) After a relaxing afternoon we went to Activ8, the church youth group. That was really enjoyable! We watched the football match on the tele ;) then at half time Rachel, Jennifer, and I shared with them how we had been growing during our stay in England. It was great! It has been a joy to get to know that group! :)

Monday! THE OLYMPIC TORCH!! I got to see it! I am not mentioning how early we got up or how cold it was or if it rained or how long we stood there...because it was totally worth it!! :) We were right up on the spot and got to see all the floats go by and finally in the distance you see a guy (the runner we saw) in white holding a huge gold torch with a small flame reaching out of the golden top. It was amazing! It is hard to put it into words! I realized that this was a chance of a lifetime that I will most likely never see anything like this again! I was a part of history....wow!

Our great spot!

Someone gave us some flags to wave

I got one too!

Then came the floats!

They were handing out Cokes..but we did not get one :(

Here he comes!!

Almost here!!!

Here he is!!!

There he goes :)
I even got a video of it :)
It was absolutely amazing! I am so happy that I had the opportunity to go to it! :) After that we came home and went to Boys Brigade!
Project Craft! :)
Sweet boys!
Such focus

Made some Olympic Torches

The older boys shot bow and arrows

That was a very fun night! Rachel and I got a chance to shoot some as well..and Rachel almost got killed! haha But she is alive and well! ;) Jennifer got a chance to hold a bow but no shooting for her! Got to save that arm! :)

Tuesday! Mr. David had a funeral this day and Mrs. Beth was sick with a migraine so Mr. David dropped us off at the Northampton Market for some shopping. It was very fun! We got all kinds of cool stuff and souvenirs as well as eating some good food!
And tried on some hats!

We then made supper! We had a lot of fun trying to figure out all the measurement transfers! :( but we were able to do it and it turned out very good!
Rachel made a macaroni casserole

I made Poppy Seed Chicken

Yummy!

Jennifer sauteed some vegetables!

  It was quite delicious! :)

Today, July 4!

This morning we had prayer meeting. I know I say this often but I am truly blessed by this group! It is such a great way to start off the day, in prayer! This group is so warm and welcoming and I feel so at home here! After the prayer meeting we headed up to Moulton Parish Church (I have had pictures of it in earlier posts). They were having a luncheon like the one that we had a couple of weeks ago and we were invited to speak.
Mr. David introducing us
The people there were so sweet and I enjoyed talking to them! I also enjoyed getting to share and talk with some of the people that were there! It is such an encouragement to talk to people that are from a different country but we have a common ground in Christ!! That is soo amazing!!

We then got a chance to go and tour the church...including the bell tower!!
Climbing to the bell tower

The bells!!!
It has been a great few days! and I am so thankful to have the opportunity to come over here! :)
