Getting to know these people have been such a blessing! Yesterday the church hosted a luncheon for about sixty people that are in need, lonely, or new to the area.

Our team helped to set up the tables and put the place settings on and then we were to sit with one of the tables and get to enjoy the wonderful company of a few of the people there! The meal was absolutely delicious and we had so much fun with the people we shared it with!
From left to right: Helen, Phil (it was her birthday), and Isabella (she just turned 92!!)

After helping put the hall back to rights we headed to the local mall to do some shopping with the Gamstons! Everything is decked out for the Olympics and Football matches!!

Have to stop for some coffee and tea in the mall and have a chat! ;)

Mr. David and Mrs. Beth Gamston

After our stop at the mall we headed back to the church and went to the Boys Brigade Awards Night. In the Brigade their were 4 boys who got the Queen's Badge and will be awarded their badge by a representative of the Queen! It was quite exciting! During this time we were able to meet many new people and form some new relationships! My reading in Psalms 119 tonight has really encouraged me that since God has set my heart free from the fear of speaking in front of people or stepping out of my comfort zone or whatever fear may rise up in me, I will RUN to follow His leading. Also that if I have things weighing me down or worrying me, He will strengthen me! I will post tomorrow with what I have been up to today but I am now over jet lag and I am quite tired tonight! :) so goodnight y'all ;)

  1. Thank you for your post. It's nice to see the people you are with.
    How is the weather there.
It's very hot this week here in Indiana, mid-nineties.
Are the coffee and teas about the same price as in the United States?
    Love you.

    1. It is actually quite cool here right now! It has not rained that much since we arrived but it will start the down pour tomorrow :) the temperature is the midsixties right now but earlier in the week it was around 60! Very different then the 98 degree weather that I left! haha so far most everything has been a little bit more expensive here than in the States...trying to keep in mind the exchange rate but I have not priced tea yet. I will do it next time I walk to the coop! :) I love you very much!
